FROM CANTEEN FREESTYLES TO THE BIG STAGE: THE JOURNEY OF ADVIL DVIL
Meet **Advil Dvil**, a recording and performing artist, music producer, and graphic designer. While many artists have grand tales of musical origins, Advil's journey began in an unlikely place: the high school canteen. “My classmates and I would freestyle in class and in the canteen during breaks,” he recalls with a smile. Those moments of impromptu rap battles soon morphed into something more serious, leading to his first experience in the studio. “A couple of my classmates had a music group, **YNDT** (Young Niggas Doing Things), and they asked me to join. That’s how my journey started back in 2016 or so.” Fast forward nine years, and Advil has turned those freestyle sessions into a career. His passion for music is infectious, and he's quick to share the most important lesson he's learned along the way: “Change is constant.
