STORY WORTHY; AN INTERVIEW WITH ABDUL MALIK SALAWUA

Abdulmalik Salawu a 26-year-old basketballer for the Ham warrior Academy, A man whose story is truly one worthy to be written and shared, He lives life in a way people might see as a crazy ride, a rollercoaster journey even but it is one of self inspiration. The first time I picked up a basketball was few months right after secondary school and I fell in love with everything that came with it”, was how he started his new chapter as a basketballer.

His passion and creativity was driven by his beliefs, “The impossible is possible” and his family is his first driven boost of his journey. Playing has gotten him to meet alot of people with big dreams, people like him, people who don’t give up regardless of the odds, so what inspires him is still a mystery to our rising talent, but to me, his greatest inspiration is himself and in the lines of this interview will bring to light

my conclusion. He has an unlimited supply of “LET’S GO”, showing him the best version of himself in the game, he knows he can do it, and being in that court he proves everyday.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be? JESUS, ever I will jump at a chance to have a meal with Jesus, a dinner worth more than words can describe.

What is most spontaneous or adventurous thing you’ve ever done? Travel to different state with no clue of where I’m going, who I would meet, no food, no shelter, just straight up survival. Truly spontaneous if you ask me, we could call him the black Simba, but he sails lands and not the sea.

One thing he is passionate about outside his field of work is math, A calculative adventurer. His advice to his younger self is “THE WAY YOU LAY YOUR BED IS HOW YOU WILL LAY ON IT”.

An advice for all if I most say. What’s something that’s on your bucket list and why is it important to you? Getting to spend and take care of my parents before we part, that’s my definition of success, I also want to sky dive because its a metal challenge I have to face What obstacle have you faced, and how did you overcome them? Impatience, everything comes in good times, ride through the motions, do the work, your time is going to come. Something he had to learn the hard way.

What’s the best advice you’ve received, and from whom? The only real thing in this world is suffering by Uchiha Madara. Anime has always related more to reality than reality itself, a true advice SUCCESS AND ACHIEVEMENTS.

What are your most notable accomplishments so far? I made it to pro league and it’s all up from here How do you measure success in your field? Playing at the NBA What advice would you give to someone starting out in your field? Forget about results just working.

What skills or knowledge are essential for success in your industry? Patience and discipline. No journey will be easy that’s what’s makes it journey, and his essential knowledge has shown his understanding of this.

Future plans and goals What projects or endeavors are you currently working on? Building my web3 knowledge and my gaming franchise.

Where do you see yourself in the next few years? Still working on being number One At the end he conveyed a message “Try to listen more than you say”.

To support him follow, like and share his page @abokitotheworld

Story worthy, Abdulmalik has shown a dream is only big enough when it scars you, He has giving a different light to what chasing your dreams means or in his case sailing the lands to his dream. I hope to write the true inspiration of his journey to the NBA, scoring the winning shots, a complete 3 pointer.

The story is just playing out stick around for more of his chapters to be discovered
